Happy New Year dearest readers! ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

It was a fun 2012 for sure, despite the problems that I encountered along the way. I think that the year 2012 was a good start on my road to self-discovery (not that I was even aware I started embarking on such a journey. :P) and I’ve been learning more about myself and my strengths and weaknesses. In my heart, I just know that 2013 will be more awesome that 2012 was. 🙂

I was deciding whether to include this year’s New Year’s resolutions in this entry but I think that I should reflect on what I really want to accomplish for this year. This year, I don’t want to make resolutions just willy-nilly. I want to be able to measure the success of this year’s resolutions so that I can gauge accurately whether or not I’m making progress. And it would be easy to determine what steps to take to be able to achieve that goal in case I’m behind.

For example, one of my goals for this year is to lose weight (as if it isn’t every year). But now I know that if I don’t include how many pounds I want (need?) to lose and by when I want to lose them, I’ll probably end up not fulfilling that resolution (again). I want my New Year’s resolutions to be like goals we set at work. I know that if I do that, the probability of me actually completing my goals are higher.

I want to start 2013 right. And what better way to start it than by making sure this year’s resolutions are well thought of, right? Hopefully, with this kind of preparation and mindset, I’ll be able to fulfill most, if not all, of the goals I’ll be setting this year. 🙂 Yes to positivity and no to passivity. 😀

I’ve quite a bit of reflecting to do so I’ll take my leave now. Until next time dear readers. (^^)/~~

HAPPY NEW YEAR! o((*^▽^*))o
